Spencer Street Family Practice is pleased to announce that from 1st March 2026, we will be transitioning to a full bulk billing practice for all Medicare-rebatable services.
This decision has been made after careful consideration of our patients and our ongoing commitment to providing accessible, affordable healthcare to the Bunbury community and surrounding areas. We understand that cost can be a barrier to care, and we want to ensure our patients can continue to access high-quality medical services without financial stress.
Under this new arrangement, all eligible Medicare-rebatable consultations will be bulk billed. Some procedures and services that are not covered by Medicare may still attract a private fee, and our friendly reception team will always inform you in advance if this applies.

We are suitably located for patients working and living in the city of Bunbury and surrounding environs (Australind, Busselton, Boyup brook, Balingup, Capel, Collie, Dardanup, Dalyellup, Donnybrook, Eaton, Millbridge, Myalup, Stratham, Roelands, Brunswick Junction etc)
The practice was established in 2010 at Unit 2/138 Spencer Street, Bunbury 6230. In February 2015 we relocated to our new purpose built premises at Unit 1/130 Spencer Street Bunbury 6230.
Spencer Street Family Practice is an AGPAL accredited medical centre.
This means that we meet the highest standards indicated by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Our patients are cared for using evidence based, high standard medical care.

If you need a doctor after hours, please call our After hours deputising service – Night Doctor Home Visits on 1300 644 483, or go to Bunbury Regional Hospital Located at the South West Health Campus on Bussell Highway (Cnr Robertson Drive).
MISSED APPOINTMENTS
Any patient that does not come in to the Practice for their booked appointment will be charged a Missed Appointment Fee of $50. This fee will need to be paid to the Practice before the patient can be seen by a Doctor.
This policy also applies to patients that cancel less than 2 hours before their appointment.
